About the Event:
As global markets evolve, exploring avenues for growth and expansion becomes essential. This seminar offers an opportunity to learn about public procurement in the EU market, understand the advantages provided by CETA, and network with industry experts.
To find out how to tap into the EU market, Dr. Christian Kokew and Kerstin Kröger (LUTZ I ABEL, Munich, Germany) will explain the basics of EU Public Procurement Law, discuss the benefits of CETA for this market, and present the most common pitfalls when participating in EU procurement procedures. Their presentation, "Public Procurement: A Perfect Opportunity to Enter the EU Market," will also highlight the potential for Ontario companies in the EU market, where public authorities spend approximately €2 trillion on services, works, and supplies each year.
Additionally, Werner Rieche, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales for Europe at OpenText will provide firsthand accounts of his experiences navigating public procurement processes in the EU, helping to contextualize the insights given by LUTZ I ABEL.
Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided for the registration and networking period of the seminar.
