Manufacturing

A vast majority of the manufacturing sector is entrepreneurially driven as local business owners founded many of the manufacturing operations and have continued to grow them over the years.  By providing a skilled local workforce, combined with access to multiple post-secondary institutions, superior road, rail and air transportation infrastructure, lower business costs and an exemplary quality of life are all part of the formula that has contributed to the success of Strathroy-Caradoc's manufacturing base.  We are poised to increase the manufacturing capacity for our area in the business park land we currently have available.  The manufacturing sector is also supported by an organization called Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium, which allows for sharing to optimize learning, expertise and resources amongst 13,000 consortium and member manufacturers.
