Agri-Business

Strathroy-Caradoc is situated in the heart of Ontario's agricultural region, and Agri-Business is one of the largest economic drivers within the municipality.  With  235 farms totaling in 56,000 acres of farmland, the agriculture sector in Strathroy-Caradoc exports $220 Million of product annually.

Manufacturing

Ontario is the economic powerhouse behind Canada's manufacturing sector, and leading the way is southwestern Ontario.  At the geographical center of southwestern Ontario is Strathroy-Caradoc.  There are 2,000 manufacturing jobs in Strathroy-Caradoc, making up 15% of the labour force in the municipality.

Small Business

The small business community is very prevalent in all areas of Strathroy-Caradoc and it contributes significantly to the thriving economy locally and regionally.  The small business sector makes up a significant percentage of businesses in Strathroy-Caradoc and sees to the creation of local jobs and contributions to the continuing vibrancy of the economy.
